CH24 Wishbone Chair

Hans J. Wegner for Carl Hansen & Son - 1949

A light, attractive and comfortable dining chair with a characteristic Y-shaped back, the Wishbone Chair is Hans Wegner’s best known design. Despite the chair’s straightforward appearance it takes more than 100 steps to make. The surprisingly durable paper cord seat requires approximately 120 metres of cord and an hour to weave.
