Pleat Box was created by applying a digitally designed fabric crease to ceramics. Therefore, the origins of one of Marset’s most artisanal designs actually lie in the digital realm. The alchemy of the craft process leaves unpredictable traces, small marks in the metal glaze, tiny cracks in the polish… little flaws that mark the unique personality of every lamp.
Ceramic is a ductile, malleable material which can be manipulated to ensure each product is unique. Fusing the clay with different enamels has allowed Xavier Mañosa to discover and interpret new light effects. So much so that the brilliant white enamel indoor version creates sparkles that enhance the light, while the 24-carat gold plated version emits an extraordinarily warm light.
The outside of the lamp is available in ceramic white, black, terracotta and grey. This collection is also available with integrated LED technology, which projects indirect light and prevents glare. Choose from four sizes.

Materials:
Ceramic diffuser with the inner part in brilliant white enamel or gold. Ceramic canopy. White fabric electrical cord whenever the inner part or the outer part of the lamp is white. If not, the fabric electrical cord is black.
