Girard Coffee Table
Alexander Girard for Knoll - 1948
Famed for his work in textile design and furniture, Alexander Girard described himself as “a reasonable and sane functionalist, tempered by irrational frivolity.” The table was originally introduced as Model 108 in 1948 and reflects the playful spirit Girard injected into the often austere modern vocabulary.
