Broom Stool

Philippe Starck for Emeco - 2012

“Imagine”, says Philippe Starck, “a guy who takes a humble broom and starts to clean the workshop and with this dust he makes new magic. That’s why we call it Broom.” Starck and Emeco came together to create a chair that is reclaimed, repurposed, recyclable – and designed to last. Broom is made from 75% waste polypropylene and 15% reclaimed wood that would normally be swept into the trash. The wood particles create a speckled texture that gives the surface a warmer, more natural touch. Lighter colours show the contrast of wood fibers more. Available in both counter and bar height.

Reclaimed polypropylene, wood fiber and glass fiber. Due to the nature of the materials slight differences in chair surfaces may occur. Soft plastic glides. Available in 6 colours. All colours are suitable for outdoor use.

Counter: 16.81" W x 16.25" D x 33.25" H, 24" Seat H; Bar: 17.25" W x 16.75" D x 39.25" H, 30" Seat H
