Eames® Molded Wood Side Chair

Charles and Ray Eames for Herman Miller® - 1950/2013

Charles and Ray Eames set out to create a one-piece molded chair in the 1940s, eventually “compromising” with their iconic two-piece molded plywood chairs in 1946 and one-piece molded fiberglass chairs in 1950. Today’s technology has caught up with the Eames’ vision, in the form of this striking addition to the molded chair family, clad in 3D molded wood veneers.
