1966 Collection® Lounge Seating
Richard Schultz for Knoll - 1966
Florence Knoll, upon her retirement to Florida, asked Richard Schultz to design “a decent set of outdoor furniture made out of materials that won’t rust or corrode.” Four years later he debuted his 1966 collection which brought the clean lines and balanced proportions of indoor modern furniture to outdoor living. Since its debut the collection has been updated to take advantage of modern materials like Teflon thread. The 1966 Lounge Seating is available as a Lounge Chair, Two Seat Lounge Chair, Three Seat Lounge Chair (all with arms) and an ottoman. Strap, Mesh and Frame finishes are with a variety of different colour options. Seat pads and covers are also available.
