Almost 60 years after its discontinuation, this classic makes a comeback in molded plastic. The Eames Shell Chair with the famous low wire base makes for a perfectly pitched lounger. It developed the nickname ‘Cats Cradle’ and remains a favourite with collectors today. The Eames Shell Chair with Low Wire Base supports all armchair shells, and is available upholstered, non-upholstered, or with a seat pad.

Materials:

100% post-industrial recycled material. Seat and back are formed of a single piece of molded plastic with waterfall edges and flexible back. Shell available nonupholstered, upholstered seat pad or fully upholstered. Upholstered seat pad comes affixed to Eames Molded Shell. Plastic shell in 12 different colours. Wire base finish in white (white glides), black (black glides) or trivalent chrome (black glides). Standard glide.
