Nelson™ Platform Bench Wood Leg
George Nelson for Herman Miller® - 1946
Introduced in 1946, the Nelson platform bench remains a landmark of modern design. The clean, rectangular lines reflect designer George Nelson’s architectural background and his insistence on what he called “honest” design — making an honest visual statement about an object’s purpose. It is ideal as a bench or low table. Available with either walnut or natural maple top.
Top finish is solid maple or walnut with clear coat. Ebonized wood base. Bench is available with rubber bumpers. Light assembly is required.
