Bertoia Bench

Harry Bertoia for Knoll - 1952

This simple design was the first piece of furniture created by Harry Bertoia for Knoll. Although the bench does not have the signature wire grid of his seating collection, the welded wire base shows an early exploration of the material and foreshadows what was to follow. The bench also makes a great coffee table. Available with black or white slats and a chrome base. Seat cushions are available to order.

Materials:

Solid wood horizontal slats pre-treated to help prevent sagging or warping. Slats available in black or white painted finish. Base is constructed of welded steel rods and finished in polished chrome. Plastic glides. Knoll logo stamped into the base of the bench.
