Tabloid Desk
With Tabloid, Blu Dot set out to design a desk with useful storage that could live comfortably both at home or in an office. They liked the idea of simple planes coming together to create a generous work surface surrounded by a cozy gallery. Slim steel legs tuck into the negative space at the corners suspending the entire composition in space and giving it a lighter stance. The gallery doubles as a modesty panel meaning the desk can easily float in any room away from the wall. A small hatch centred on the back edge of the work surface leads to a cord management shelf below with plenty of room for a power strip or two.
