A workspace classic that combines an ergonomic molded plywood shell of graduated thickness with a uniquely designed bright chrome metal base. The swivel base Task Chair is available with or without arms. With a uniquely designed chrome metal base, the Task Chair’s seat height is adjustable from 15.5″ to 19.5″. Available in a variety of finishes and upholstery options. Reissued in exacting detail from the original drawings and molds designed by Norman Cherner in 1958.

Materials:

Beech core laminations with face veneers available in a variety of finishes and veneers. Polished Chrome height-adjustable Swivel Base. Arms are polished chrome with solid wood arm rests. "Natural" finishes have a clear top coat where the natural variations in the color and the grain of the wood are clearly visible. No stain or colour enhancements are used. Classic finishes mean aniline dyes and water-based low VOC varnishes are used to produce a finish where the natural grain texture of the wood is clearly visible with uniform colour throughout. Products with a lacquer finish are smooth to the touch with a uniform colour with no wood grain visible. "Natural" walnut products have only a clear finish applied. The lighter beech core and darker walnut face veneer are brought into vivid contrast. Products with a "Classic" walnut finish have a stain applied to both the beech core and the face veneer which gives the products a uniform walnut colour (very little contrast in colour between the beech core and the walnut veneer). Upholstery seat or back pads are sold separately.
