Oiva / Kukasta Kukkaan Mug 4 Dl

Erja Hirvi for Marimekko

Erja Hirvi brought the joyfully blossoming Kukasta Kukkaan print to life during a burst of creativity at her summer retreat, fully immersed in floral inspiration. The loosely conceived pattern emerged as she painted, capturing the myriad ways flowers appear in nature. The Finnish name of the design translates to “from flower to flower” – a nod to the playful flight of bumblebees among summer blooms. This large mug features the Kukasta Kukkaan print and pairs well with the bowl and plate in the same series.
