Maija Louekari for Marimekko - 2021

Maija Louekari’s abstract Hyräily (humming) was hand-painted with a thick brush. This stripe-like pattern painted with a relaxed hand follows the rhythm of humming. According to the designer, the hand-painting accentuates the carefree beauty of everyday life – we don’t always have to have only straight lines and right angles. This set includes three Oiva plates, all with the Hyräily pattern. The plates are made of dishwasher, oven, microwave, and freezer safe white stoneware. The set is packed in a gift package.
