Based on an artifact of American folk art that was treasured by Charles and Ray Eames, the original black wooden bird has stood in the living room of the Eames House in Pacific Palisades for over seventy years. Charles and Ray Eames enriched the collage-like interior of their private home, the Eames House, with numerous objects and accessories that they brought back from their travels. The Eames House Bird enjoyed pride of place in their home and also appeared frequently as an accessory in photographs taken by them. Now available in a Ash with a cotton white oiled finish.
