Aalto Scented Candle Small
The Aalto Scented Candles are set in reusable ceramic vessels inspired by Alvar Aalto’s iconic design, this smaller version carries a powerful scent and sculptural charm — perfect for intimate moments and gifting. Choose from three variations – Fire, Water and Sand – elements used in glassblowing. “Fire” captures the primal essence of flame and wood, echoing the furnace at the heart of Iittala’s glassmaking. Smoky and warm, it opens with frankincense, clove, and leather, moving into deeper notes of patchouli and oak moss. A base of cedarwood, vanilla, and agarwood gives it lasting presence. Bringing the freshness of a Nordic lake indoors, the Aalto Scented Candle “Water” opens with ozonic notes, coriander, and green leaves. The heart blends clary sage and waterlily with white patchouli, before settling into a grounding base of amber, musk, and cedarwood. With its layered composition of earthy and floral notes, the Aalto scented candle “Sand” brings a sense of grounded luxury. Cardamom and black pepper brighten the opening, while suede, orris and jasmine lend softness and depth. The base of sandalwood, cedar, and vetiver lingers with quiet warmth.

Materials:
Candle: 80% Rapeseed Wax & 20% Paraffin. Stoneware vessel. Burning time approximately 45 hours. Care instructions: After the candle has completely burned down, the vessel should be cleaned by hand. Always use candle on a stable, level, heat resistant surface away from draughts, external heat sources and flammable materials. Never leave a burning candle unattended. Burn within sight. Keep away from things that can catch fire. Keep candles at least 5 cm apart. Do not place near a heat source. Trim wick to 1 cm. Snuff out the flame. Do not blow it out. Avoid direct inhalation of any smoke. Do not move a burning candle or candle holder. Do not touch, may be hot.
