Michael Anastassiades for FLOS - 2014

Cypriot designer Michael Anastassiades has created an elegant, poetic light with his IC series for Flos. The series was inspired by the mesmerizing movements of jugglers with “spinning spheres moving around, and they are spinning so perfectly, you can’t even see them move – it looks perfectly balanced and perfectly still.” Michael wanted to capture that movement and the result is a delicate blown glass globe balanced perfectly on a metal stand. Available finishes include chrome, brass, or black.
