Toio Floor Lamp

Achille Castiglioni and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni for Flos - 1962

Launched the same year as Flos, the Toio floor lamp is now an icon of modern lighting. The Toio floor lamp was born from marrying ready-made industrial objects to a special US import 300 watt car head lamp. Form follows function as the voltage transformer hides in plain sight on the metal base and serves to stabilize the lamp.

Enamel stainless steel base supports nickel plated brass stem. On/Off switch on power cord. 300 W PAR 56 Medium Incandescent bulb included.

8.26" base W x 62.2-76.77" H
