A leading manufacturer of high-end furniture, Cassina was founded by the brothers Cassina in Meda, Italy in the 1920s. The company evolved rapidly after World War 2 as it acquired the manufacturing rights for some of the most notable furniture designs of the 20th Century, including those of Frank Lloyd Wright, Charles Rennie Mackintosh, and Le Corbusier and his associates. Today the company continues to produce these classics as well as an expanding catalog of contemporary pieces from today's best designers.
